Pinehurst Park is a local outdoor adventure park created for Chippewa Valley residents of all ages. Initial construction and renovations began in 2013 by our crew of volunteers who still continue to develop, improve, and maintain the park today.

Facilities Available: Downhill mountain bike trails and dirt jump park, paved pump track, hiking trails, year-round disc golf, playground, hockey rink, general skating rink, crokicurl rink, sledding hill, hike-up ski/snowboard terrain park area, cross country ski trails, snowshoe trails, and enough lights to illuminate the trails on those dark winter nights.

During the winter months, a gear-share program is operated out of the warming house by Eau Claire Parks & Rec. Park users can check-out sleds, snowshoes, Kubb sets, Crokicurl equipment, broomball equipment, helmets, and hockey sticks - all for free! We DO NOT have ice skate rentals :(

Mission

Our mission is to work in partnership with the city of Eau Claire’s Parks and Recreation Department to rebuild and reinvent the former ski hill located at Pinehurst Neighborhood Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin into a year-round outdoor adventure park.

Vision

Our vision is to create a local year-round outdoor recreation destination that is a valuable community asset for Chippewa Valley residents of all ages. We want to create a place where kids & families can have fun and be active outside during every season; a place to compete among friends; and a place that will become a local action sports gathering place.
