The City of Eau Claire, Parks and Recreation department, will be hosting a Pinehurst Park neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, January 28th @ 5pm.
We will be discussing Phase II changes:
Winter Phase II:
Hill lighting, snowmaking including a chiller pond/multi-use skating rink, re-grade the tubing area and add tubing lanes for safety, further tree removal/thinning at the top of the SnowPark area, (3) paddle and/or tow ropes for skiing and snowboarding, snow grooming, ski and snowboard rental, lift ticket concessions, ski and snowboard lessons, snowshoeing/hiking trails.
Summer Phase II:
Continued additions to the downhill flow trail, continued additions to the dirt jump park, single track trails, pump track, disc golf, and walking trails.
